Demand for shares was high, with the first commitment for an investment coming back within minutes. The funding round was nearly 50% oversubscribed, causing EmpowerPharm to scale back investment requests. Nearly 65% of the individuals that were offered the opportunity to invest committed funds, with EmpowerPharm raising a total $11.4 million.
