Health Canada has approved EmpowerPharm’s application for its Research Licence. Obtaining this licence is the first step on EmpowerPharm’s path to manufacturing CBD prescription drug products. The licence allows for research and development (R&D) activities on CBD. The licence covers both EmpowerPharm’s manufacturing facility in Burlington, ON, and the off-site R&D facility being used while the manufacturing facility is under construction. Once the manufacturing facility is complete, all R&D activities will move in-house.
